Erik Reitz has been named the Colts newest team captain.

Erik has been considered one of the best defenceman in the OHL. Since coming to Barrie, Erik has proven himself very worthy of that assessment. He was chosen in the 1st round, 19th overall by the Colts in the 1999 OHL Priority Selection. He helped lead the Colts to their OHL Chamionship just two seasons ago. Erik is one of only a handful of Colts still on the roster from that Championship team.
