Shayne is one of Barrie's three overagers this season. Since coming to the Colts in November of last year in a trade with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, Shayne has proven himself to be a solid player who comes out to play every game. The Colts sent second year player Kyle Wailes to the Greyhounds in that trade. He was named one of six assistant captains for this season.
